Position: MCS Maintenance Employee - Painter (2 positions)
- Details: Part-time (no benefits) hourly position, Year Round, approximately 20-25 hours per week

Work Related Experience, Skills, Abilities
- Preferred- 3-5 years as an experienced residential/commercial painter
- Preferred- Skills, abilities, experiences in residential or commercial painting, light maintenance, general cleaning
- The ideal candidate will have abilities to positively communicate, collaborate and work well with others

Responsibilities:
- Estimate time needed for job completion and recommend areas in need of painting to MCS Facilities Coordinator or building administrator
- Comunicate supply and tool/equipment needs to Facilities Coordinator for procurement
- Prepares surfaces for painting by removing old paint using paint removers and appropriate tools
- Fill nail holes, cracks and joints with caulk, putty, plaster or other fillers using appropriate tools
- Prepares paint and primers and matches colors
- Applies paint, varnishes, stains and other coatings to interior/exterior surfaces with brush, roller or other tools
- Clean, Maintain and Properly store all supplies, tools and equipment
- Other duties as assigned by Facilities Coordinator or a building administrator
- Ability to perform any physical duties associated with this position (e.g., lifting up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, sitting for long periods of time, walking, seeing, standing for extended periods of time, etc.)
